SO i have a mac from 2011.
It won't allow me to update my software, so this won't allow me to update my itunes.
I am trying to unlock my old Iphone 5s. But itunes won't really respond to disable my phone it keeps asking me to unlock it so it can connect...

I want to try and recover my media before erasing everything. My mac has still has it's back up saved on itunes and i still have it connected to my iCloud. Is there still no chance of recovering my stuff?
But my mac does have the back up in the memory. My mac just isn't allowing me to update my OS X YOmite so i can't download the new itunes. Or does the new update have nothing to do with trying to unlock my phone?
If your phone is disabled, it's too late to recover anything on the phone that wasn't already backed up.
