Message on my iPhone reads ‘Undo Read’ with options of ‘Cancel’ or ‘Undo’ but no option takes away the message.

I have the same problem. How can this be fixed? I need to press undo >20 times until the screen lights up and it goes away. Very annoying.

I turned off “Shake to undo” as a fix. Not a feature I ever use anyway. At least not intentionally.

Disable “Shake to Undo” in Accessibility -> Touch.

And undoing the read just reverses all the mailbox updating I did on my laptop. No solution in the community yet, might have to look elsewhere.

I’ve never liked that feature anyway. This bug forced me to figure out how to turn it off!

One of our guys at work had this issue and it was driving him crazy. Thanks for this tip which DID fix the problem immediately.

So for me this is not a fix! I LIKE shake to undo, but this new functionality (or lack) is really not going to work for me.

Any other ideas for a fix? WILL this get patched with 13.4? When?

turning off "shake to undo" does not fix the problem for me. I can't access my mail on my iphone

you have to hit "cancel" many times..eventually, your screen re-appears

I don’t want to turn off the shake to undo feature. I want to disable the “read message” as something that needs to be undone. Or allow a single push on the cancel icon to clear away the undo box

Yes, why is this happening? My 10xs has to be rebooted to make the "Undo Read:" go away. Must be a real techno-mystery because no one is responding with a remedy to this thread..
