how can I add aiff file to sounds folder?
I want to add a custom "sound" for mail notification. I have it recorded in the aiff format, but the Sounds folder in my Library won’t accept it. Any suggestions?

Add where?
Your user Library is located here, from Finder>Go>Go To Folder> copy and paste:
~/Library/Sounds
drag and drop your file.aif
restart the Mail.app or reboot the machine.
