.pkg files

Can not get .pkg files to open or run in Catalina. Nothing happens when I try to install or open the install packages

iMac Line (2012 and Later)

Both of the pkg files for an epson scanner's drivers. And no, nothing, no error message, no system dialog. But I solved my problem by finally finding a updated Software Updater on the company's website that could install the two packages. Then everything worked. Just wished there was some feedback. However it might have something to do with also upgrading to 15.1.2 between attempts.

Nothing? No dialog box, no eror message? One .pkg file in particular are all .pkg files???


Control click if necessary to show the contextual menu>Open
