Using iOS Remote App with Catalina 10.15.2 Music App

How do you pair the remote app with the new Apple Music app in MacOS Catalina 10.15.2?

The release notes say it should work now.

Inside the iTunes remote app remove your Library & if possible turn off home sharing in the settings.

Than tab Connect Manually.

In the sidebar of the music app on your Mac your device should be visible. Enter the passcode and it should work.
