Ringtone in Bluetooth Headset when iPhone Rings

I have set my phone to silent mode with the ringtone volume set to zero (far left). Phone will just vibrate when incoming call. Perfect.

When I connect my iPhone with my Jabra Bluetooth headset or my Plantronics Headset, with the same setting, it will still ring on my headset. I was thinking whether it's just my headset ringing it's own ringtone but not from my phone; but when I change the iPhone ringtone Sound to something like a song, my headset will play that song. So it's the iPhone propagating the sound to my headset when I have set my phone to silent. Is there a way to turn off this function in iPhone?
