IPhone 7s Home button makes clicking sound when pressed

I've noticed that other's have been experiencing the same type of problem. My problem started when I dropped my phone from waist height. I supposedly have a case that's should not allow that to happen. So much for that. Anyhow, it clicks repeatedly when pressed, and quite loudly. Someone on this thread said the screws may need to be tightened on the haptic engine? Please let me know if that's the case.

If it completely malfunctions, do this in the meantime:
