Apple Watch Series 5 with OS 6.1., iPhone 11 Pro with OS 13.3.
Launch the News app on the Apple Watch and it's stuck on "Preparing your news".
I've tried all the usual stuff: Force quit News on the watch, reboot the watch, reboot the phone, turn off/on iCloud sync for News.
Anyone know how to fix this without having to unpair/re-pair the watch with my phone?

Exactly same symptoms. I note that I have Apple new set to only show news from subscribed sources. Read somewhere that there’s an issue with this setting.
