iPhone XR on latest IOS won't update apps

There's plenty of talk on the 'net about this issue, but I can't find anything here. Some people are finding that they can't update the apps in the app store. Others on the same IOS version are perfectly fine.

Some have speculated that the FreeFlight app might be to blame. Others that it is specific to a certain type of user ID.

Either way, my phone is increasingly unusable and I would assume there is a fix out there somewhere.

I've logged out and into my Apple ID. I've restarted the phone and crashed the app a few times to see if that helps. I have 156 app updates waiting for me. I just get the spinny wheel when I try Update all, and the same when I try to update one at a time.

Fingers crossed, there's a fix out there somewhere.
