Keychain Auto Created Password

Hello,

Within Keychain you can create a keychain item with the option for KeyChain to create a password of variable length and with the following 4 types of password options.

  • Letters & Number
  • Numbers Only
  • Random
  • FPS-181 Compliant

However when I am on a website and I am prompted by KeyChain to create a password for an account, I am not presented with the same options as shown above. So that I can select the level of Password security, is there a way to change the default manner in which keychain creates an auto password?

Safari's "strong password generator" doesn't use the same algorithm: Automatically create a strong password. It's not customizable either.

I have already asked Apple to implement some degree of customization to placate ill-conceived websites and services that consider "1Password!" acceptable, yet consider Safari's much more secure ones insecure.
