Why cant i create a hyperlink in email on iPad?
why? if it’s indeed impossible, I want a good explanation of why, from an apple employee. Seems intuitive that I’d be able to highlight a word and select an option like “create hyperlink” and paste there what I’ve got in my clipboard. Why is this not a function? I want to be able to take my iPad to cafes in lieu of a laptop, but if I can’t create and send elegant emails and rather each night must come home from the cafe with drafts that only my laptop can complete, then why did I buy this thing? What’s your primary product intent - personal baby lap tv? kindle alternative? solitaire machine?
the email function on the iPad can stand for some steep functional and UX improvements. While I have you on the horn I’ll add that I find the “inbox as side column while recent email remains visible” makes for anxious usage, on my end. I want the home screen to be Inbox, like all other sites of interaction with my gmail account - phone, web browser. They’re all fine... why here this unsettled feeling of side column?
