Spent 8 hours creating a video for our news site only to find that there is no way to move it from iMovie to YouTube. Error message "Sign in with Google temporarily disabled for this app

Don''t care if it's an Apple or a Google problem, but someone needs to take ownership of it and fix it.
It is likely that Google has not updated its online uploader to keep pace with Apple's changes to its operating system and iMovie. If so, that would be Google's problem.
The most reliable way to upload to You Tube is to share your movie to your desktop and from there drag it into You Tube's upload window. There won't be any loss in quality.
