This was helpful when using my computer. Since you seem very knowledgeable.... I have related questions regarding VIPs/Favorites on the iPhone (v 13.3)......any chance you also have the answers?
(1) What is the different between "Favorites" in the Contacts app and VIPs in the Mail app? My VIPs in Mail on the iPhone mimic the ones I set up on my computer following the instructions your provided above...but the names listed under Favorites in Contacts are different (a few names I added years ago)
(2) How do I add VIPs on the iPhone (versus from my computer): in the mail app I went to the VIPs group, and clicked on the "i" icon. There is smart text in blue that says "Add VIP." When I select that it takes me to the contacts search function. If I type in the person's name, it will take me to that contact but I can't figure out how to then add that contact to the VIP list. Do you know?
