Apple Music sound levels are inconsistent on Apple TV 4K

As a recent Apple Music subscriber, I am disappointed by the apparent lack of a Sound Check feature on my Apple TV 4K to ensure consistent sound volume. I’m trying to build a playlist mix of traditional and contemporary Christmas songs available on Apple Music. Sadly, there is often an intolerable difference in sound volume between older recordings and more recent ones.

I’ve read suggestions that the Reduce Loud Sounds feature can be used to dumb down the recent recordings but intuitively this seems like an unacceptable approach. Is there’s a Sound Check feature tucked away on Apple TV which boosts the volume of older recordings? I’d sure welcome guidance on how to enable it and if not, can Apple techs indicate when this essential feature will be made available?

In settings/apps/music there is a setting there, "Sound Check" under playback. That's the only such setting I know of. However, I don't know how well it works with older recordings. In my experience even with more recent recordings I still seem to have erratic volume with songs, I still find myself lowering/increasing the volume of songs in my playlists.
