Iphone short circuit and shutting off

I tried to repair my iphone. It said that it had a short circuit. When i used it, it was half charged. But the time i charged, it shuts down. Why is my iphone shuts down whenever it is charged? I already tried to change the battery, but it's just the same. It always shuts down and when turned on, it only shows the apple sign and shuts down. So I'll turn it on again, and it shows up "need to charge sign". So I charge it, but it shuts down again.

IPhone won't charge when ON and it burnt up My new iPhone 8plus stopped charging for hours. It eventually died and i left it on charge for about 3 hrs and it charged to 75%. I realised that it charges when its OFF but won't charge when its turned ON. I accidentally(i knew it wouldn't charge but i forgot) left it charging ON and it burnt up. I don't know what's wrong, even after it burnt a charger, it still charges while OFF. What's wrong?
