how do I get the Brave browser, to use my keychain, its only working on safari

Safari won't update my password in keychain when I change the password. How do I fix this? I use the recommended strong passwords, so when it updates I can't just edit the password and input it. Is there a way to fix this so it updates the keychain password for the site? Alternate question: How do I copy the new recommended password so I can update the new password to the keychain? The first question is my preference, but if there isn't a way to do that, I can copy & paste it into my keychain, but I don't know how to let me edit it copy it. Help!?

Keychain Autofill not working on a specific safari site I was sent a private link for a site and for some reason autofill doesn't pop up even though I added it manually to the keychain. Even when I entered the password for the first time, I wasn't asked to add it to keychain. It wasn't until I attempted to close the page that I got prompted to save it in Keychain. I also noticed that anytime I close the browser, open it back up and attempt to login again, the password field suggests a new password. Very confused. At this point, I have to enter my credentials manually. Any suggestions?

See if that works for you. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me. If you use iCloud Keychain it may not be applicable.
