"navlibx" will damage your computer. What is this and how do I get rid of it.

I recently downloaded the latest macOS Catalina software update and almost immediately started receiving the "navlibx" message. I am not really tech savvy person and most of the internet searches hav all wanted me to download some aftermarket program. It seems that is what caused this problem in the first place. So how do I remove this threat?
