Alexa/ Echo vs iTunes?

How can I get Alexa/Echo to play my iTunes playlists? I can't get Alexa to do it. She just says to subscribe to Apple Music. When I search this question online, Apple's only answer is to buy Apple Music! Uh, I already paid iTunes for all this music, I'm not going to pay Apple AGAIN, now via a monthly fee, just to play music I already bought. Ugh!

CP MDR,

You can set up Alexa as a bluetooth speaker to play your iTunes library. But unless you have an Apple Music subscription, Alexa cannot respond to voice commands about your iTunes library. See more discussion here:
