16-inch MBP issues with power and top right USB-C port

My MacBook Pro 16-inch 2019 is a few weeks old, and I have this issue where the battery icon indicates that the device is connected to a power adapter even though nothing is plugged into the MacBook Pro.

Additionally, the top right USB-C port seems to be disabled, not accepting PD power or reading any USB-C devices. The other 3 USB-C ports are fine.

I have performed both PRAM and SMC reset procedures without any positive results.

Is anyone else experiencing these issues?

It sounds like you have a defective USB-C port. You should take the laptop to an Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined and repaired.
