How can I message my family? They iMessage each other. Sometimes my texts don't go through to the iphones. Wife=iPad, 2Kids=iPhoneX. Thanks, CPD

About the only thing she could do would be to use a service like Google Voice, which will give her a phone number she can use from the Google Voice app on her iPad she can use for VoIP calls and SMS messages.
As for the kids, you'd have to ask them. If their lines are provisioned properly, there's no reason they shouldn't be getting your messages.

SMS and MMS messaging are carrier features. The iPad can not receive SMS or MMS messages unless the user has an associated iPhone and it is properly configured to sync the messages.
Thank you. I hope to find an App to bridge that void. I don't trust off name Apps. I understand that iPads aren't SMS capable. Do you think the kids are just ignoring my texts to their iPhones?
