I’m glad you thought to reach out to Apple Support Communities with this one. I tend to get anxious when I have too much calendar clutter, so I can relate.
You can merge iCloud calendars easily if you’re using a Mac. Apple’s Calendar User Guide has a great tutorial:
Import or export calendars on Mac
*Make sure to select your macOS version at the top for the best guidance.
If you see your iCloud calendars in the sidebar on your Mac, you may be able to just easily drag and drop one calendar onto the other or secondary click and choose "Merge".
If you’re not using a Mac, you can sign into your iCloud account on the website and possibly effectuate a merge, but it may take a few more steps. It looks like you have to move events separately instead of having the option to import and export entire calendars here:
