error 4005

i need to restore my iPhone 6s i placed a passcode on it yesterday and instantly forgot it.

i have tried to restore and also update as i am using 10.10.5 ? and also have updated iTunes which tells me it is updated but its not.

If you see error 9, 4005, 4013, or 4014 when you restore your iOS device - Apple Support
