I keep getting a pop-up on my phone: Enter the Google password for (my email) in Settings. This happens all of the time, and don't know how to get it to stop. Any help would be appreciated.
I realize that is what it is asking, but it pops up all of the time. I want to know how to prevent it from happening because it is annoying.
Go to Settings/Passwords & Accounts. Tap on the Google account and enter the password. Or just delete the account, restart your phone, and add it back. Or just delete the account and download the gmail app from the app store.
Apparently, your phone is having a hard time authenticating to Google's servers.
Try removing the account entirely, rebooting the phone, then re-adding the account.
