No Message App open after iOS update

I cannot open the Messages App following the latest update of the iOS in Dec 2019.

Any suggestions?

It sounds like you're having trouble with Messages app and I want to help.


Let's try forcing Messages to close and restarting your iPhone:

If you go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage, is your iPhone full or nearly full for the internal storage?


We might have to try and backup and restore your device using a computer to try and repair this issue.

Follow the steps here to restore to factory settings using your computer:
