MacBook crashes when entering sleep mode when attached to 34wk95u

Every time the macbook goes to sleep it crashes when the monitor is attached with the Thunderbolt cable. changing the display mode from 1.2 to 1.4 or changing the screen resolution had no effect. I

Besides that I can't enter the the 5K mode with the right scaled text I find this issue really a nasty one.

Question: Can I solve this in Mojave 10.14.6? Is it fixed in Catalina?

I'm hesitating to switch to Catalina because I lost trust in Apple's development quality.

You do not say what exact Mac /model /year /size /retina /touchbar is this

and

it is unclear what exact macOS you are currently running?

Have you looked for updated drivers?

typically I would suggest resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379

Thanks for replying Leroy,

I reseted the SCM and PRAM but the issue is still there.

I have a MacBook Pro 15" 2017 Retina with TB with Radeon Pro 560 4 GB, Intel HD Graphics 630 1536 MB Grafic card. I did a fresh install of Mojave some time ago, so nothing strange there I suppose.

I have no idea how to fix this one.
