Since the latest update to 10.14.6 my iMac will not recognize my "My Passport" drive. The drive works fine in my MBP which is not updated. I have tried using different USB ports and a powered hub with no improvement. I need this drive for work.

Are you using the WD software to manage the drive? If so, then you may need to update the WD software.
Are you using any AV or cleaning apps? If so uninstall them by following the developer's instructions.
Try booting into Safe Mode to see you can access the drive.
