New ipad and account, not allowing me to download apps

Hi all,


I just brought 2 refurbished ipads (second gen) for my kids, i set them up today, and everything was fine apart from neither will let me download from the app store. Keeps saying i need to review my settings, and then a box pops up, but stays blank, i left each one for over an hour to see if they would work, but the box just stayed blank on both.


Can anyone give me any advice please?
