changing wifi on apple watch series 3

My series 3 watch and iphone7+ are on two different wifi at home and it doesn't sync well. How to change it??? I've looked all over on the phone app and it's possible from the phone on a series 5, they have instructions for it, but nothing for series 3.

Log your iPhone onto the WiFi that you use for your watch. Then reconnect iPhone to the other. I have both 2.4 an 5ghz WiFi’s and the watch will only connect to 2.4 and I want my X to be quicker so I use the faster WiFi. And it is a LOT faster.

The watch will also connect to a WiFi which you have previously logged into with phone if phone is off or not with you.

i turn off my phone at night and it usually takes about a minute for my watch to link in to WiFi only.
