I’m here assuming what you’re dragging are apps.
Does this also happen when you boot unto Safe Mode?
Safe Mode rebuilds various caches, and can sometimes clear similar problems.
You can put all kinds of things on the Dock, but accessing YouTube on your Mac isn't its own app. It's a web page within Safari.
Can you post a screen shot of the icons?
Use cmd-shift-4 to take a picture of the area of the screen, then use the image icon in the toolbar here to post the screenshot.
That blue globe icon is actually Google
If I drag an app it’s working ( I had few apps there) but if I want to download YouTube as an app, for example I can’t find it.
So you can drag just apps on dock bar?
Thank you for your help.
You're welcome. 🙂
If I do a search in Google (for anything), and drag any of the results to the Dock, I get the globe.
It makes sense (in a way) because it's a link to a site on the World Wide Web.
You can drag such links to the desktop instead where the name it's automatically given is where it goes, rather than a bunch of vague globes that give you no indication where they go until you click on one.
