Possible to import only photos (not videos)?

Hello. Is it possible to only import photos from my iPhone to Photos? I have a lot of videos that I do not want to import into Photos, and I would rather not go through the import screen and choose photos one by one. There should be a setting for this, but I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't.

Thank you.

There is no setting. You will have to select what you want to import. Can I assume that you are not using iCloud Library?

If so and you use My Photo Stream on both devices only photos get synced to the Mac, not videos. And it's automatic. After you take photos with your iPhone and you connect your Mac to WiFi the photos (and not videos) are automatically imported into your library on the Mac.

If at any time you want to transfer a video to your Mac you can use AirDrop to get it to your Mac's hard drive and then import from there to your library.
