Dead Pixels

I was using my iPhone X yesterday and then I noticed a weird patch of black at the top right corner of my phone. At first it wasn’t so bad, but then it began to spread. I’ve tried using these videos to get rid of the dead pixels and they have been working but very slowly. If I take this to the Apple Store, will they be able to fix the issue? And if they cannot fix it, can I get a free replacement? The patch just keeps on growing and I don’t know how to fix it.

iPhone X, iOS 13

If your phone is still under the original warranty and the screen is defective, Apple will replace it. If it is not under warranty and if you didn't purchase AppleCare when you purchased the phone, you will need to pay to have the screen replaced.
