Hello Apple Community,
I have an iPhone 8 Plus, and I accidentally soaked it in Salt Water for about 45 seconds 3 days ago. It works fine, but every time I use a charger, the charger stops working completely. I tried charging the phone with 2 chargers, both of which stopped working. What do I do?

If you don’t want to get a new port/pay for a new port, try buying a wireless charging station, luckily 8 and up are water resistant and support wireless charging.
Water of any kind can destroy an iPhone. Salt water is even worse. Schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar where they will offer you an out of warranty for a fee. If you have a valid AppleCare plan on the phone, the fee is reduced. If you don't have AppleCare, it will cost more. The fact is Apple doesn't even try to repair a water damaged iPhone.
Not really and more importantly, salt water, which is very corrosive may be at work inside the phone corroding things internally. It's likely just a matter of time before the phone shorts out or stops working completely.

I understand what you’re trying to say, but the phone has no problem. It’s just the charging port that’s ruining the wires I use. Is there a way I can clean the charging port?
