My Ipad destroys chargers, help!

I noticed that my IPad 5 charger was dipped in salt water. So I wiped it then plugged my Ipad, but the charger is not working anymore. I tried using every charger in our house however, every single time I do so, the chargers suddenly stops working (tried plugging the chargers to different devices but it suddenly stopped working as well)

Is is possible that my Ipad destroyed all of the chargers because I used a cord that was dipped in salt water?
