Can not upgrade my MacBook Pro Mid 2010 to Catalina

What options do I have if I own a mid 2010 MacBook Pro laptop? Its quite old but it still works properly and I only want to use it to produce Music but GarageBand is no longer available for my 10.12.6 (sad face)

I cannot install GarageBand I have a Mac running Catalina 10.15.7. Up until recently, I am sure that GarageBand was installed on my Mac. I never used it because I never had the right hardware, but I have just received come hardware for Christmas and when I went to open Garageband, I found it had disappeared. When I go to the App Store and try to reinstall GarageBand, it says "GarageBand can’t be installed on “Macintosh SSD” because macOS version 11 or later is required." So I tried to install macOS version 11 (i.e. Big Sur), and it says "The requested version of macOS is not available." So I'm stuck! Can I install an older version of GarageBand?

Upgraded OS to Catalina, yet I can't download a version of Upgraded OS to Catalina, yet I can't download a version of Garageband that works with this version. Big Sur has only just been released! Is there any way of getting an older version of Garageband that is OS compatible? Bit of an own goal by Apple really.

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and download High Sierra. It can run the current GarageBand version.
