i cannot open FCXPX anymore

Today i've got this problem with not being able to open FCPX in macOS10.14.2. My Imac says i need macOS10.14.6. Ihave been upgrading FCPX today . Did that cause my problem?

Thnx Tom, my problem is already solved. I first will have to upgrade my imac to Catalina in order to be able to use my just upgraded FCP 10.4.8 ( I had 10.4.5 before) . I did it the other way round and obviously that didn't work out ;)

What version of FCP do you have? The current version needs 10.14.6 or 10.15.x.
