Extracting photos and video to my Windows computer desktop.

I have an old phone and want to get all of my videos and pic to my desktop (iPhone 6).

But it wont see all the photos on my folders when in Windows explorer.

I go to the iPhone after I hook it up with a Lightning cable.

then keep going in

Then see these folders, well they don't contain the videos nor all the pics. Anyone have a solution?

is there an easy way to transfer videos from an iphone to windows 10? i tried a link that said basically to use the phone as a hard drive. It said to plug the phone into the port, then copy the files. it was from an apple link. I believe that it probably said to use the Photos app in windows 10. However, what i found was that the photos app does not open photos properly in windows 10. It would not allow me to open them and export them from the phone. It had an error. I got the feeling like for some reason, the system thought they were open or something. It said that it was unable to export them and try again repeatedly. It would keep refreshing the windows photo app view screen, and i could not do anything but view the photos and videos. Are there any suggestions? All i was able to do was upload them to a website, and download them to my laptop. That is not an easy option. I do believe that I have used my phone as a hard drive before to make backups in some sort of way for a different type of process for itunes. That is not what i am trying to do. I just want to copy videos when i need to, and put them on my laptop, so I do not have to switch between screens on the phone. This is since i am trying to learn something, and it is difficult to alternate through screens and watch videos and take notes on the phone. Please advise if possible.

Unable to copy Pics from Windows PC to iPhone using iTunes. I'm a new iPhone user so wanted to transfer my old phone pictures and videos that I copied to my windows PC to iPhone. I followed the guides on internet and yet when I use the Add file or Add Folder option, it reads up the files that are there but does not show up any files for transferring to iPhone. Morever, it is showing these videos under the movies section which appear only when iPhone is connected so I am assuming these files are on iPhone but not on my PC. I do not know how these got transferred but they dont show up in iphone, they show up on itunes when phone is connected to windows pc. I tried changing the path of photos to sync but these videos stay there constantly. I've tried the photos app and TV app on phone but these videos do not show up there. So please help me delete these videos if they are on phone but not visible since they are eating up a lot of space for nothing and also help me to transfer my photos from windows pc to iphone.

Those are the only folders that you will see with File Explorer. Did you "trust" the iPhone and computer? The only photos that will be seen would be the ones that are in the Camera Roll/ Recents. Actually the best way to import photos in Windows is using Photos program in Windows 10. File Explorer does not work well to do this.

bummer, it isn't even half of the photos and non of the videos. I will keep trying, but thanks.
