Wrist raise not working on Apple Watch Series 4

My Apple Watch Series 4 no longer activates when raising my wrist. The "Wake Screen on Wrist Raise" and "Wake Screen on Crown Up" are both set to "On", but the screen only wakes by tapping the display now. Any ideas in resolving this? Thanks.
