How to give application Camera access - Catalina?

On my mac I'm trying to run Horus, a 3rd party 3d scanning software, but it says that no camera can be found. I believe this is because the application doesn't have privacy rights to my usb camera, the application does not ask for it. How do I fix this?

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.15
