Have new iPad. Safari app is not on it. How to get it?

How are you using Google? I am quite confused. It sounds like when you performing a Google search for Safari you are arriving at an older page that informs you that you can install Safari for Macintosh or Windows. Seeing as Safari is bundled within the Macintosh, iPad, iPhone, iPod touch’s system software and is no longer available for Windows then my assumption is that the page you are reading is outdated information.

Tap the icon on the far left in the dock. That is Safari, it should pen when you tap it
All of a sudden the Safari icon appeared in the dock!but still not on the screen.?
Well guess if it stays in the dock it may work !but seems strange. Thanks Rob3837 .

Yes, that would be the Safari icon. It is currently stored on your iPad’s Dock. iPad’s Dock is available on all of your Home Screen pages.
