Anyone got any ideas why this would happen?
My photos in Apple Photo are fine in thumbnail, fine in the Finder as originals but display weird colours when in the full view within Photo! Pic attached.
I've repaired the library - no luck
Created a new library, added just one photo, does the same.
Frustrating!

Next log into another user account and see if the problem persists there in Photos. (This tells us if the problem is limited to your user account or is system wide).
Boot into Safe Mode (Use Safe Mode to isoloate issues with your Mac) and test your library there. Any improvement? Reboot normally and test again.
NOTE: Safe Mode boot can take up to 10 minutes as it's doing some system cache cleaning, volume verifying and directory repairing.

Sorted! Just installed SwitchResX, turned the colours down from 30 to 24bit (millions) - worked a treat. Obivously my ageing iMac was struggling to render billions of colours.
As far as I can see from your screenshot you are also missing the "Photos" item on the left sidebar?
Having both problems too!
The missing Photos view a known issue and unfortunately a boot into the Safe Mode won't fix it.
