Process completed error pops up when login sa

Whenever I startup my computer, Safari opens up and a window pops up that says "The process is completed. TO finish click ok." But neither I can click ok nor close the window. The screenshot is attached with this question. I don't even use Safari.

Something to try. Try downloading this program which was written by Thomas R, a long time poster. The program will search for malware/adware. The program will do the work for you which makes it easy. It may be necessary to run more than one scan. After running the scans, restart the computer.

Open "Activity monitor" >then look at the unwanted programs in the list > and terminate them.

Though the program looks like it runs in safari, it doesn't run in safari, it's a separate program.

The name of my harmful program was "tapufind".

Then use the program name in spotlight search and open the respective folder and delete it.

Also check all your browser for change in home page and extensions and remove them.

Finally delete trash and restart system.

You are good to go. Worked for me. Hope it works for you too.

Be careful while installing 3rd part apps.

Yes i deleted one task in activity monitor, and it solved the problem.

The task was "tapufind"

It was displaying the message above, and also my home page in firefox was changed from google to tapufing search page

I tried also the software above : Mawarebytes, and i could delete easily 35 potential intrusions in my mac without problems.

No need to download any third party software. Go to extensions on Safari and Chrome and disable "ChillTab", this is the malware causing the issue. Install the AppCleaner to make sure all extensions and system items are uninstalled. Open "Activity monitor" and search for all the ChillTab processes and terminate them. Then go to "Shared" folder located under the "Users" folder Computer/Your Mac HD/Users and delete all the files located on that folder. Make sure to disable all the unknown extensions on your browsers. Good luck.

Okay everybody, everything that everyone has advised me to do on this threadI have done multiple times and the file continues to stick in my computer. The only thing that I did that really worked was backing up all my files and factory reset the whole Mac computer to start from scratch. It’s been over two months and I have yet to see the file pop up & my computer works a thousand times better. Everything that everyone has advised did not work at all. So to everyone else who has this problem and reads this, please know that I have tried everything that everyone has advised which nothing works and the only thing that worked was doing an entire factory reset. Hopefully it works for you if it comes to that.
