Pages file not printing on HP printer

I've even gone to the HP website and updated my driver (older printer). Other items print, just not getting the Pages text to print. Though the ink is going somewhere, since it's suddenly low after being changed before starting this mess.

Since you don't mention your HP device, and that it is an older printer, you may have downloaded a 32-bit printer driver that simply will not work on macOS Catalina which requires 64-bit applications and drivers. HP may or may not update the driver to 64-bit depending on the age of the printer.

This is not a Pages issue.

HP Photosmart Premium C309g. New print driver was released in October 2019 compatible with Catalina, if their support page is to be believed. Pages printed a single page prior to updating the driver; without closing the document, my wife then tried to print multiple pages of the same document that had just worked. Every print job since that single page has been blank out of Pages.

Other JPG, PNG, PDF and RTF items are printing from the Mac through that printer. I fail to see how this is not a Pages issue if that is the single application that is kicking out blank sheets of paper.

My apologies. First visit to the discussion board in *years*. I didn't notice your reply was addressed to Nurse Linda Sue since we're both running Catalina and both using HP printers & Apple gives us the ability to indicate we have the same issue in an attempt to reduce threads.

I should have read more closely as to who your reply was addressed.

After you downloaded that November driver for the C309g, did you also reset the print system, so that printer would "see" the new driver update? It won't do so automatically.
