On my phone it it showing as paired, but when I try to change the setting it asks me to make sure that the watch is powered on and nearby my phone. Which it is.

Apple watch pairing problems My series 4 apple watch was fine with my iphone 11 pro max and i did an upgrade to the phone by switching it to a iphone 14 pro. I have tried to pair my watch and when i try it says connecting to your Apple Watch this may take a moment and after a while it changes the screen to unpairing apple watch. Does anyone know whats going on with it?

Force reset the watch;

To force reset your Apple Watch, press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for at least 10 seconds, then release both buttons when you see the Apple logo.
