Wireless charging pad gets hot

I just purchase a mophie wireless charger pad from Apple for my iphone 11 pro max and it gets really hot and makes my phone and airpods hot. Is this normal and safe ?

iPhone getting hot on wireless charger My iPhone gets very hot on an official apple magnetic wireless charger more often than not and then hardly charges when hot. i have a separate non apple branded magnetic wireless charger in my car and it doesn’t overheating but I also normally have cooling air con on in the car. I’ve tried the apple magnetic wireless charger with my iPhone 12 mini using an official apple MagSafe car as well as without a case and both scenarios can often result in overheating and minimal charging. Any solutions yet?

Wireless Charger doesn't seem to be working I have an iPhone 12 Pro as well as an apple wireless charger. When using the wireless charging pad my phone connects and reads as charging but it does not seem to be charging at all. The phone will also get very hot fairly quickly after placing on the charger. I got an alert that my phone was dying while on the charger and reading as it was the charger. Any ideas as to whether or not this is my phone or the wireless charger? P.S. normal charger works perfectly fine, and the phone either has no case or is in the apple silicone case.
