iPhone 13Pro max wireless charging question

I have an iPhone 13Pro max with Otterbox Defender case.

When charging via wireless table charger, the iPhone becomes warm-hot.

after finish charging, return to normal in 2-3 minutes.

Ive tried 2 different wireless charges with the same results.

The charger made by iWork Apple compatible with original power charger and USB-C Apple cable.

is heat a normal behavior?

Getting ridiculous hot while wirelessly charging My iPhone 13 is always over heating when I’m wirelessly charging it. I use nothing but apple charger products and I charge it without a phone case on. I leave it on my nightstand and my car wireless mount both get so hot I’m surprised it hasn’t burned my hand or my wooden nightstand. My husband iPhone 13 pro doesn’t have this problem at all and we use the exact same charging products except he can charge his with his case on but never has an overheating problem. Is it just me or is this common issue with the new iPhones?

Wireless charge question : The charge stopped because IPhone temperature Dear community, At every wireless charge I receive this message : "Charging On Hold. Charging will resume when iPhone returns to normal temperature". I use an Anker wireless charger and the IPhone model is 13 mini. At my wife's IPhone(IPhone XR), the same message. I changed wireless charger with a Samsung and the same message appeared. Is this cause for concern? Should I change wireless charger? If yes, what model do you recommend ? Sincerely yours, Claudiu

It is normal for your device to become warm when charging wirelessly as described here:

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch gets too hot or too cold
