Migrating Apps & data from MacBook Pro 13” mid 2012 which was forced to OS Sierra to new MacBook Air. Migration has ceased with 7 min. remaining with the Applications folder. What is the next step??

Did you reboot and see where it left you? You can force a shut down if necessary, holding the power button/TouchID for ~10 sec.
