Why are my AirPods showing as Bluetooth speakers instead the regular AirPod symbol?

1. What device and software version are you currently using with the paired AirPods?
2. Where on the device are you seeing the Bluetooth icon as speakers, instead of the AirPod symbol?

I am having the same problem and in the volume indicator it says that it’s a Bluetooth speaker other then the Airpod Logo
