My iCloud is storing pictures that I don’t want in my iCloud, but don’t want to lose them. If I delete the photos from my cloud does it delete the, from any where else?

If you are using iCloud Photos nd you delete a phot in iCloud, you delete it everywhere, not just in iCloud. You should always backup your photos. Take a look at this.
