Thoughts about the screenshot tool

I just bought a new MacBook Pro, and I really like the screenshot tool that I can easily access via Touch Bar. However coming from Windows I feel the rectangular tool is not as slick as the Windows counterpart. With the Windows 10 snipping tool I can easily capture a rectangular area with a single "click-hold-drag-release" motion. With the MacOS snipping tool I need to move the rectangle to the desired position and then adjust its size/shape. The MacOS's version does have some advantage: I can clearly see the edges of the rectangular area when I adjust the shape/position, so it's more suitable for a fine adjustment of the area, but it's not ideal when I want to take a quick (as fast as possible) snap of an area without need for careful adjustment. So I hope Apple can add a new rectangular snipping tool to the screenshot menu that captures a rectangle with a single "click-hold-drag-release" motion. That improvement will make the screenshot functionality perfect. Maybe we can call that new botton "quick snap"?
