I have the framework to be used in xcode for my project which is shared by third party. The framework is showing as folder instead of icon. But my colleague can be able to see the same framework as icon in his laptop. We both have the same version of xcode. Please advise do I need to do anything from OS level

Same here : xxx.framework and xxx.xcframework bundles were displaying the correct icon until Mojave (the toolbox one) in the finder and since I upgraded to Catalina, they now looks like regular folders... However, their icons are correct inside a Xcode project and they are working as expected.
I will also add that there are other extensions for which icon are incorrects since Catalina upgrade: an exemple is the .ipa extension. On my side, they now appears with the Hex Fiend app icon (despite the fact the I have Xcode and also Apple Configurator 2 installed which in my opinion should be the default associated apps for .ipa)
